Ion D. Popa is a communication expert at the European Institute of Romania (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), where he carries out activities in communication, public relations, and European affairs, contributing to the promotion of institutional dialogue and the organization of events with national and European participation. His academic interests and background include international relations, diplomacy and public communication.
Since 2024, he has been an associate lecturer at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, within the Faculty of Communication and Public Relations, where he teaches the course Public Communication in the EU. He is part of the first generation of governmental communication experts, contributing through his academic training and professional experience to strengthening institutional capacity and advancing the field of public communication in Romania.
