Diana-Maria Cismaru is a doctor in sociology, Full Professor and Head of Public Relations Department at the College of Communication and Public Relations in the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration, Bucharest. She is the coordinator of Master programs Communication and Public Relations, and Social Media and Marketing Online (programs in Romanian Language). She is the author of co-author of several books (Romanian Language): Reputation management in the online space (2015), Social media and reputation management (2012), Internal communication in organizations (2008), Public relations – cohesion and efficiency by communication (2011), The intelligent organization (2009), and coordinator of collective volumes:Trends and challenges in the knowledge economy (with Cristina Leovaridis and Diana Dumitriu, Lambert Academic Publishing, 2016, English Language),  Innovation and organizational learning (with Cristina Leovaridis, Tritonic, 2014, English Language), Entrepreneurship and business success(Comunicare.ro, 2013) and Televised Romania in ten days (with Ion Drăgan, Tritonic, 2008). She participated as an expert in national and international research projects, from which: State of the Nation (POCA, SNSPA and Government Administration Unit, 2016), Internationalization, equity and management for quality in higher education (POS-DRU, UEFISCDI, 2014), EHR- Entrepreneurship for Human Resources (POS-DRU, SNSPA, 2012-2013), Public policies founded on evidences in higher education (PODCA, UEFISCDI, 2013), Scrutinizing the impact of CCS communication on general and local publics (national scientific coordinator, ERA-NET/CNMP, 2009-2010),  Horizontal and vertical partnerships for increasing the access to higher education (POS-DRU, SNSPA, 2010-2013). She had a research stage in George Washington University în 2011, from which she developed the research laboratory Organizational Learning. Areas of interest in research and practice: structural reform of social systems, online reputation management, global organizational communication, e-learning and innovation in teaching.
